The research of the RTG focuses on three major research areas:
Research Area A: Response, resilience and reversibility of ecosystem structure (Projects A1-A9, E1, E4 and E7)
Reserach Area B: Response, resilience and reversibility of biotic interactions (Projects B1-B10, E2, E3, E5 and E6)
Research Area C: Response, resilience and reversibility of carbon and nutrient flows (Projects C1-C4)
