Research Project E8: Regime shift in phytoplankton communities in Lake Constance
My researches is focused on the long-term changes of traits in the phytoplankton community in Lake Constance. In particular the trait changes between the period of eutrophication between the 1960 and 1980 and the period of re-oligotriphication from the 1990s onwards. Later on in the project I hope to simulate different groups of phytoplankton within the community by means of ecological modeling.
